“Cooperation, trust and a genuine spirit of doing things nationally and internationally are more important than ever. It is essential that our work is noticed and that we are seen and heard where things are happening.”
NordicHub Manager Triinu Varblane points out.
The development of the national economy and competitiveness requires strong Nordic cooperation, because together we can succeed in the global market. Much of the innovation activity in the Nordic countries, and in Europe, takes place in regional and national clusters, which means that they must be linked to each other to foster genuine cooperation. At the same time, the Finnish cluster field seems to be scattered and there is a lack of a clear understanding of the whole.
During the event, the development of a strategic roadmap for a national Finnish cluster platform began. The event offered a plenty of cluster content from Europe and Finland, inspiring participants to discuss and find a common voice to address the needs of Finnish clusters and to brainstorm future support services.
The aim of the event, to promote cooperation, to increase the exchange of information and awareness of clusters and to strengthen international cooperation, was achieved in many ways. The event offered Finnish clusters the opportunity to get to know each other, work together and learn from each other. At the same time, cooperation between Finnish, Nordic and European actors was promoted.
The motto of the event was “Let’s make history together!”, and it succeeded in creating a strong foundation for future cooperation in the Finnish cluster community. At the same time, the event raised expectations for the realisation of the next national meeting.
”The motto of the event was Let’s make history together! Turns out, we didn’t just aim to make history – we actually wrote a first chapter,
